21 Lee’s Headquarters Museum Gettysburg Eagle
Breast Plate - Nondug. Provenance included consisting of
letter of sale from established Gettysburg dealer and copy of the page from the
Lee’s Headquarters inventory ledger. Mounting block on back of plate
marked in pencil “137” corresponding to museum inventory ledger. Mounting block is secured
by 2 small nails bent around plate loops; plate/loops not damaged in any way.
